Consultant and Coach, Kay Sandberg
Kay Sandberg is the Institute’s business manager, and also a consultant and
coach for the Soul of Money Institute. She is pleased to offer these
services to organizations and individuals both in the corporate and
not-for-profit (”social profit”) arenas.
Kay is a seasoned professional with three decades of experience in the
corporate, academic, and social profit (nonprofit) worlds as an
organizational development consultant, facilitator, and coach to individuals
and teams. Recent experiences include her role as executive director of a
501-3 social profit organization, and co-founder and CEO of a large complementary &
alternative medicine practice in California.
Her corporate experience in the US and Asia/Pacific focused on leadership &
team development, organizational capacity building, advanced communication,
management, and leadership skills, valuing diversity, cross cultural
training, and global marketing. Corporate clients included Hewlett Packard,
Agilent Technologies, Sun Microsystems, National Semiconductor, Hitachi, The
Radiance Center (Maui, Hawaii), Stanford University, Syntax Communication
Modeling Corporation, and SRI International, where her last post was Senior
Consultant for Training and Organizational Development.
Kay is a fundraising partner of The Pachamama Alliance, and a facilitator
for the Awakening the Dreamer Initiative (www.pachamama.org). In 2006 she founded the Global Fund for
Healing (www.globalfundforhealing.org) to express her commitment to help the planet return to wholeness at every
level–personal, interpersonal, community, and global levels through projects based
on co-equal partnerships among resource rich and resource poor communities
around the globe.
She is fluent in Japanese, conversant in Spanish, and holds a Master’s
Degree in cultural anthropology from Stanford University. Kay’s background
also includes extensive training in fundraising, coaching, personal mastery,
and “green” (ecologically sustainable) medicine. She has taught a personal
development course for many years.
Kay is eager to support, empower, and consult with you regarding projects
that benefit people, planet, and profit (social and monetary profit). She
particularly enjoys helping organizations and individuals reach their full
potential and co-creating transformative solutions to the amazing challenges
and opportunities of this pivotal time in history.
Kay has two adult children and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
